Lunch Money Accounts
If your student plans to eat a school lunch once in a while, he/she may purchase a lunch by paying when he/she goes through the lunch line. Students may also pay cash in the line for milk, snacks and drinks. Younger students should give lunch money to the teacher at the beginning of the day for safekeeping.
If your student plans to eat in the cafeteria on a regular basis a lunch account should be opened. Please note that lunch accounts are debit accounts and a balance should be maintained in the account at all times. The account may be opened with a minimum deposit of $35.00 per student. Once the account is set up, funds may be added in any increment. Please remit additional funds by check for your student's account if possible, as there is less chance of error. Please write your student's name on the check. If cash is sent, please place it in a sealed envelope, identify it as LUNCH MONEY, with student's name on the outside of the envelope. All lunch money for lunch accounts should be turned into the homeroom teacher or the Welcome Center. Each family will receive a weekly email reflecting activity in the student's account. If the balance is below $5.00, please send in additional funds. In the case of seriously delinquent accounts, students may not be permitted to purchase lunch. If you have any questions about your lunch account, please call Melissa Pinelli at 268-8667, extension 119.
